You'll begin with a four-night stay in historic Richmond, Virginia, the Confederate capital, from which elegant base you'll not only explore the gloriously scenic Blue Ridge Mountains and spend a full day in the 'little town' of Washington DC, but will also have a chance, on an optional excursion, to step back in time and visit Colonial Williamsburg, where America's beginnings are faithfully recreated.

A night in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina's classic 'seaside resort', is followed by two days in the 'Southern-belle' surroundings of the riverside gem of Charleston, with its Caribbean feel and Civil War Associations, and Savannah, Georogia, as pleasant a US city as you could hope to find, and where you'll stay for the last two nights of this truly memorable holiday.
